You want to feel better, but where to start?
Living with poor mental health is tiring and coupled with the current threat of COVID-19, many of us are facing a lot of additional pressure. If you're anxious, scared and feeling helpless, there are steps we can take together to lessen your fears.
I'm not so different from you. I've suffered pain, broken relationships and mental health issues. Believe it or not, you can change these feelings with time and help.
With my training and qualifications plus lots of school of life experience, I'll work with you to understand what might be happening to you, with the same techniques that helped me.
I'm down to earth and don't profess to have all the answers. Therapy is teamwork, and I believe no one size fits. Outside of work, I'm a keen gardener and cook. I love to get involved in my local community and get out and about with my dog and my family.
I'm a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, working in Retford, Nottinghamshire.
I studied a BSc (Hons) degree in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute (SPTI) in Nottingham.
I'm a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I adhere to the BACP ethical framework and SPTI code of conduct.
